Helen (Melnick) Janiak, 86, died Wednesday, April 11, 2001, in Vernon.

Born in Steubenville, Ohio, she had lived in Middletown and Meriden before moving to Manchester. 
Helen was formerly employed by the Goodyear Tire Co. and Alcap Manufacturing Co., both in 
Middletown.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Tanya and Gary Savilonis of Manchester; and her 
grandchildren, Rhonda and Dean Brownbill of Manchester, and Greta Lynne Savilonis of Manchester.

The funeral service and burial will be private. John F. Tierney Funeral Home, Manchester, has 
care of arrangements.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 58 Brookside Drive, 
Wallingford, CT 06492-7522.
