Kula Sr., died Tuesday, April 10, 2001, at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Stafford. Born in Ludlow, Mass., daughter of the late Stanley and Caroline (Krzemienski) Walaszek, she was a resident of the Enfield community for most of her life. Jenny was a member of the class of 1938 at Enfield High School, and was an active member of the Holy Cross Polish National Catholic Church in Enfield. In addition to Fred, her husband of 60 years, she is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Fred P. Kula Jr. and his wife, Barbara, and Richard S. Kula and his wife, Regina, all of Enfield; a daughter and son-in-law, Dorothy Badeau and her husband, Marcel, of Enfield; eight beloved grandchildren, Peter Kula, Sean Knibloe, Christine Knibloe, Kathleen Kula, Carl Badeau, Brigitte Laughlan, Phillip Kula, and Eva Pelletier; and her beloved great-grandaughter, Stephanie Kula. A funeral service will be held at 12:15 p.m. today, April 14, from the Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Road, followed by a Funeral Mass of Resurrection at 1 p.m. at Holy Cross Polish National Catholic Church, 723 Enfield St., Enfield. Burial will be in the Holy Cross Polish National Catholic Cemetery.
