Klein, 85, of Manchester, beloved mother of Beverly K. Januska of Manchester, died Saturday, May 12, 2001, at Hartford Hospital. Elizabeth was born Feb. 15, 1916, in Manchester, daughter of the late Andrew and Anna (Gally) Klein, and had been a lifelong resident. She was a member of the Emanuel Lutheran Church in Manchester and the Manchester Senior Citizens Center. Prior to her retirement, she had been employed with the Internal Revenue Service for more than 25 years. Besides her daughter, she is survived by her beloved grandchildren, Robert Lutzen and his wife, Lori, of Tolland, Linda Young and her husband, Mark, of Hebron, Susan O'Brien and her husband, Robert, of Granby, Pamela Quinn and her husband, T.J., of Glastonbury; and 12 great-grandchildren, Melinda and Matthew Lutzen, Brittney, Andrew, Carter, and Julia Young, Zachary, Hannah, and Connor O'Brien, and Justin, Spencer, and Thomas Quinn; she was known to them as "G.G.," for great-grandmother. She also leaves a brother, Henry J. Klein of Manchester. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 16, at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 60 Church St., Manchester. Burial will be in the East Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 15, at the Holmes Funeral Home, 400 Main St., Manchester.
