Mrs. Kling was born and raised in New Orleans. She retired from Sears as a career executive, and lived in New Orleans, Washington, North Carolina, and Othello, Wash. He spent the past five years living in West Suffield and the McLean Home in Simsbury. She was a talented musician, artist, and author. She was a devoted churchwoman and gave freely of her time and talent. She leaves her son, Dr. Charles L. Kling and his wife, Bobbie C., of 1120 Newgate Road, West Suffield; grandchildren, Kristen and Dana Kling; son-in-law, Gary Brueher; and grandchildren, Joseph, Anna, and Lee of Othello. Mrs. Kling was predeceased by her husband, Dr. Lee Kling, and her daughter, Peggy Kling Brueher A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, at Suffield First Church of Christ, Congregational (Smith Chapel), 61 High St. Memorial gifts may be sent to the Music Committee, First Church of Christ, Congregational, 61 High St., Suffield, CT 06078. *********************************************** Copyright.
