Kennedy, 79, of 133 Rounds Ave., Riverside, R.I., a retired purchasing manager, died Thursday, May 10, 2001, at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the wife of James E. Kennedy. She was born in Fall River, Mass., daughter of the late James and Luella (Cuttle) Little. She had lived in Riverside for the last 16 years, previously living in Manchester. She was the purchasing manager for Manchester Memorial Hospital for 16 years before retiring 16 years ago. She was a volunteer for the Barrington Public Library and a communicant of St. Brendan Church. Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Maureen E. McConnell of Seekonk, Mass., and Ethel A. Kennedy of Providence; a son, Gilbert E. Kennedy of Karlsruhe, Germany; a sister, Mary E. Little of New Bedford, Mass.; and six grandchildren. Her funeral will be held at 8 a.m. Monday, May 14, at the Perry/McStay Funeral Home, 2555 Pawtucket Ave., East Providence, R.I., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. at St. Brendan Church, Turner Avenue, Riverside.
