She was born in Hartford, daughter of the late Mauro and Rita Caiafa. She had been employed at Gerber Scientific. Dolores is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lea and Robert Elliott of Tolland; her brothers, Leonard Caiafa of East Granby, Michael Caiafa of Rockville, and Mauro Caiafa of Florida; her sister, Beverly Broderick of East Hartford; and her grandson, Thomas Adam Elliott. A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, May 5, at Our Lady of Peace Church, 370 May Road, East Hartford. There are no calling hours. Tolland Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Merrow Road (Route 195), Tolland, is in charge of arrangements.
