LeBel, 78, of Enfield, entered into eternal life on Sunday, May 6, 2001, in Enfield. Frank was born on Dec. 16, 1922, in East Hartford, the son of the late James and Matilda (Dube) LeBel. He resided in Enfield for the past 32 years. Frank was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was formerly employed by Pratt & Whitney, East Hartford, for 42 years, and retired in 1981. He was a member of the Washington Irving Council 50 Knights of Columbus, and a past Grand Knight. He was also a member of St. Patrick Church. Frank is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Dorothy (Farnham) LeBel of Enfield; and his loving daughter, Mary Ann (LeBel) Zajicek of Ludlow, Mass.; a brother, Germain LeBel of Manchester; and two sisters, Sr. Mary Louis LeBel of West Hartford and Yvonne Becknell of Colorado; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by seven brothers and 12 sisters. A funeral service for Frank will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 8, from Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels, 43 Shaker Road, Enfield (Exit 48 off I-91, east on Route 220 for 1¼ miles), followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick Church, Enfield. Committal service with military honors will take place in St. Patrick King St. Cemetery. Frank's family will receive relatives and friends from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 8, at the funeral home prior to services.
