Betty Avis Losa


Betty Avis Losa, 26, of Enfield, passed away Friday, April 20, 2001, at St. Francis Hospital, Hartford.

She was born Dec. 1, 1974 in Fresno, Calif., and lived in Enfield most of her life. Betty attended 
local schools.

Betty was loved and will be missed by her parents, Larry and Tina Losa of Enfield; her mother, 
Essie Anderson of Fresno; her sisters, Michelle Losa and Rebecca Patrie and her husband, Shawn, 
of Enfield; her grandmothers, Shirley Losa of Enfield, and Ida Johnson of Holyoke, Mass.; a niece, 
Stephanie; her nephew, Larry; her uncles, David, Peter, and Rick; an aunt, Linda Subia; a special friend, 
Daniel Fuller; and many cousins and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 25, at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 
61 South Road. The Rev. Dr. Janet Richie of Enfield Congregational Church will officiate. Burial will 
follow in Hazardville Cemetery.

Betty's family will receive relatives and friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 24, at the 
funeral home.

Donations in Betty's name may be made to Enfield Congregational Church, 1295 Enfield St., Enfield, CT 06082.
