(Blair) LaChapelle Frances A. (Blair) LaChapelle, 56, the wife of Gerard "Gerry" LaChapelle, died Sunday, April 8, 2001, at her home in Manchester. She had been employed by Dynamic Gunver Co., where she recently completed 26 years of service. Besides her husband, she is survived by her son, Richard A. LaChapelle of Florida; her daughters and son-in-law, Charlene and Edward Benson of Rockville, Darlene A. LaChapelle of Lowell, Mass., and Kathleen Wagner, a special friend whom she thought of as her daughter; her brother, Henry J. Blair of Texas; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, April 11, at John F. Tierney Funeral Home, 219 W. Center St., Manchester, followed by a Mass of Resurrection at 11:30 a.m. at St. Bridget Church, Main Street, Manchester, with burial in St. James Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today, April 10, at the funeral home. Frances' family suggests memorial donations be made to either American Cancer Society, 538 Preston Ave., Box 1004, Meriden, CT 06450-1004, or American Heart Association, 5 Brookside Drive, Wallingford, CT 06492-7522. *********************************************** Copyright.
