(Abbott) Little Catherine E. (Abbott) Little, 93, of Manchester, widow of Robert Little, died Monday, Feb. 5, 2001, at a local convalescent home. Born March 29, 1907, in Kingston, Ontario, Canada, she had been a resident of Manchester for more than 50 years. Mrs. Little was formerly employed as a schoolteacher for the Manchester Board of Education and for many years taught at Bowers Elementary School. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She is survived by a stepdaughter, Jessie Beach and her husband, Dana, of Brewster, Mass., and many good friends. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 1, in East Cemetery, Manchester. There are no calling hours. Holmes Funeral Home, Manchester, has care of the arrangements.
