Catherine E. (Abbott) Little


Catherine E. (Abbott) Little, 93, of Manchester, widow of Robert Little, 
died Monday, Feb. 5, 2001, at a local convalescent home.

Born March 29, 1907, in Kingston, Ontario, Canada, she had been a 
resident of Manchester for more than 50 years. Mrs. Little was formerly
employed as a schoolteacher for the Manchester Board of Education and 
for many years taught at Bowers Elementary School. She was a member of 
Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.

She is survived by a stepdaughter, Jessie Beach and her husband, Dana, 
of Brewster, Mass., and many good friends.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 1, in East 
Cemetery, Manchester.

There are no calling hours.

Holmes Funeral Home, Manchester, has care of the arrangements. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the 
Manchester Scholarship Foundation, 20 Hartford Road, Manchester, CT 06040
