She was born in Rockville, daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Gessay. Mrs. Lemek was a communicant of St. Bernard Church, and a member of the St. Bernard Women's Guild. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Nancy Lemek of Ellington; her brother, Stephen Gessay of Vernon; and her grandchildren, Lynn and Mark Ouellet of Tolland, and Brian Lemek of Ellington. The funeral service will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday, May 10, from the Burke-Fortin Funeral Home, 76 Prospect St., Rockville, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Bernard Church. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery, Rockville. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, at the funeral home.
