Mildred (Gessay) Lemek, 89, of Rockville, formerly of Ellington, widow of Stanley 
Lemek, died today, May 8, 2001, at Rockville General Hospital.

She was born in Rockville, daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Gessay. Mrs. Lemek 
was a communicant of St. Bernard Church, and a member of the St. Bernard Women's Guild.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Nancy Lemek of Ellington; her 
brother, Stephen Gessay of Vernon; and her grandchildren, Lynn and Mark Ouellet of Tolland, 
and Brian Lemek of Ellington.

The funeral service will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday, May 10, from the Burke-Fortin Funeral 
Home, 76 Prospect St., Rockville, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Bernard 
Church. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery, Rockville.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, at the funeral home.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Bernard Church, 25 St. Bernard Terrace, Rockville, 
CT 06066.
