McAviney The funeral of William C. McAviney of Scitico was conducted Saturday morning at St. Bernard's Church, Hazardville. The pastor, Rev. John J. Brennan, celebrated the solemn requiem high mass, assisted by Rev. Robert E. Shea of Thompsonville, as deacon, and Rev. John Casey of Somersville, subdeacon. Mrs. Blanche Ryan was soloist. Bearers were Edmund Madden, John Madden, Dr. E.J. Bailey, William Burke, Edward Bailey and James Carr.
