MASTROPASQUA

Angelo Mastropasqua, 91, of East Hartford, loving husband of the late Lucy (Palumbo) 
Mastropasqua, passed away peacefully at his son's home Wednesday, May 16, 2001.

Born in Bari, Italy, a son of the late Frank and Anna (DeTona) Mastropasqua, he had 
resided in East Hartford for the past 58 years. Prior to his retirement, Pratt & Whitney
Aircraft, East Hartford, employed him for 37 years. He was also a member for many years 
of the Retirees Bowling League at AMF Silver Lanes, East Hartford.

Mr. Mastropasqua leaves his son and daughter-in-law, Frank A. and Janice (Damato) 
Mastropasqua of East Hartford; two grandchildren, Mark S. Mastropasqua of Ellington, 
and Loni Marie Kula and her husband, Scott, of Matthew, N.C.; a great-grandson, Kyle 
Mastropasqua of Advance, N.C.; two brothers, Anthony Mastropasqua of Bergenfield, N.J., 
and Louis Mastropasqua of Waverly, Pa.; two sisters, Tess Canino of Bergenfield, N.J., 
and Rose Mazziotta of Paramus, N.J.; and many nieces and nephews. Besides his wife and 
parents, Angelo was predeceased by a sister, Mary DiGennaro, and two brothers, Dominick 
and Lucas Mastropasqua.

The funeral service will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 19, at D'Esopo-East 
Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter St., East Hartford, with the Rev. Louise Dumas 
officiating. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, East Hartford.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service 
Saturday.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Angelo's memory may be made to Hospice and 
Palliative Care of Connecticut, 111 Founders Plaza, East Hartford, CT 06108, or to Hole 
in the Wall Gang, Box 2602, Hartford, CT 06146. The family wishes to express special 
thanks to all the RNs at the Hospice Care, especially Judy D'Addona, RN.
