Mott, died Monday, April 30, 2001, at a local nursing home. Born in Greenville, N.C., she was the only daughter of Russian immigrants, the late John and Heliberh (Whichard) Dolmanitschnokov. A Windsor resident for more than 20 years, she was previously from South Kingston, R.I. Niki recently retired from the Windsor public schools where she spent 20 years as a paraprofessional. She enjoyed helping young children and spent many years tutoring students after school, and was also a foster parent. As an active member of the Republican Town Committee, she served as a selectman in Windsor. She enjoyed deep-sea fishing and will be remembered for her love of the outdoors and flowers. Besides her husband of more than 21 years, she is survived by a son, John Ross Mott and his wife, Michelle, of Enfield; three stepsons, Stephen Mott and his wife, Missy, of Norwell, Mass., Leonard Jordon and his wife, Charlsea, of La Grange, Ga., and Ronald P. Mott and his wife, Laurie, of Norwell; and two stepdaughters, Elizabeth Neyer and her husband, Ronald, of Windsor, and Julie Campbell and her husband, John, of Windsor. She also leaves 14 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and her two Jack Russell terriers, Ciaci and Bubba. A funeral service will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, May 5, at Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 5, at the funeral home.
