He was the husband of Ann Katherine (Pantaluk) Marcello. He was born Aug. 2, 1937, in Hartford, son of the late Joseph and Gaetano Marcello, and attended local schools. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and had worked for Gerber Scientific and the Carlin Co. For the past 10 years, he had worked in the tool department at Home Depot as a salesman. Besides his wife, Ann, he is survived by two brothers, Edward Marcello of Wethersfield and Frank Marcello and his wife, Bernadette, of Palm Coast, Fla.; numerous nieces and nephews; and a godchild. The funeral service will be held at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday, May 15, at the Holmes Funeral Home, 400 Main St., Manchester, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. James Church, 896 Main St., Manchester. Burial will be in the East Cemetery, Manchester. Calling hours will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today, May 14, at the funeral home. *********************************************** Copyright.
