O'Leary, 78, of South Yarmouth, Mass., died Thursday, May 24, 2001, at home. He was the husband of Rhoda (Arnberg) O'Leary. He was born in Worcester, Mass., and later moved to Vernon. Mr. O'Leary worked for Pratt & Whitney and retired after 30 years. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, having served during World War II. Mr. O'Leary was a deacon at the First Baptist Church of Hyannis, Mass. He was a member of the Holiday Rambler Mayflower Group, and the Good Sam Camping/Whaling City Group. He wintered in Brooksville, Fla. Besides is wife, he is survived by two daughters, Penelope L. Bach, of West Dennis, Mass., and Pamela J. Hann, of Vernon; five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 29, at the First Baptist Church of Hyannis. Burial will follow in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne. Friends may call upon the family from 1 to 4 p.m. on Monday, May 28, at the Doane, Beal & Ames Funeral Home, 160 W. Main St., Hyannis. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund, 486 Main St., Hyannis, Mass., 02601; the Visiting Nurse Association, 434 Route 134, South Dennis, Mass., 02660; or Hospice and Palliative Care, 923 Route 6A, Yarmouthport, Mass., 02675. ********************* *********************************************** Copyright.
