Pollansky, 43, of Stafford, beloved son of the late John and Cecelia (Panicko) Pollansky, died Wednesday, April 11, 2001, in Ellington. Born in Rockville, he had lived in the Ellington area most of his life. He had worked for Limberger Construction Co. and Gale Construction Inc., and most recently he had worked for Gottier Fuel. He was a member of the Rockville Lodge 1359 BPOE. He leaves his brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert and Denise Pollansky of Willington, Gerard and Sandy Pollansky of Florida, and Maureen Pollansky of Ellington; his niece, Lisa Cirelli of Vernon; and his many friends, including Laura DePellegrini of Stafford. He was predeceased by his brother, John. A graveside funeral service and interment will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday, April 17, in Ellington Center Cemetery, with the Rev. Mary Ann Geertsma officiating.
