(Linonis) Perry, 92, of Windsor, wife of the late John E. Perry, died peacefully Saturday, May 19, 2001, at a local convalescent home. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., daughter of the late Lawrence and Anna (Zurenski) Linonis, she lived in Bloomfield and East Granby before moving to Windsor in 1963. Mary was employed by Kimberly Hall, Windsor, before taking a position at Hartford Hospital from which she retired in 1973. She was a communicant of St. Gabriel Church, Windsor, and was a volunteer and active member of the Windsor Senior Center, the Windsor AARP, a member of the Musical Hatters, a volunteer reader at local schools, was the Shad Derby Senior Princess in 1977, and won a VIP Award for senior lunches at the Windsor Senior Center. She is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, Dorothy and Hilton Roth of Cheshire, Mary and John Dennison of Southington, and Ruth Jefferis of Windsor; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a brother, Peter Linonis of Poquonock; a sister, Helen Lombardi of Windsor Locks; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by four brothers, three sisters, and a grandson. Family and friends may gather at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday, May 22, at Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Gabriel Church, Windsor. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Windsor. Her family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today, May 21, at the funeral home.
