(Albee) Pearson, died Friday, April 20, 2001, at Hartford Hospital with his family by his side. Michael was born Nov. 1, 1953, in Hartford, son of the late Alexander and Nancy (O'Rouke) Pearson, and was a lifelong resident of Coventry. He was a graduate of Coventry High School, Class of 1972, and attended technical college in Rhode Island. Michael was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving during the Vietnam era. He was a self-employed contractor. Michael owned and operated Pearson Home Improvement. Besides his wife, Susan, he is survived by his son, Michael Patrick Pearson of Dunwoody, Ga.; his two stepsons, Daniel and Nicholas Goodin of Coventry; two brothers and two sisters-in-law, William J. Pearson and his wife, Mary, of Mansfield, and John P. Pearson and his wife, Susan, of Gilford, N.H.; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Nancy T. Tetreault of Pomfret Center and Denise G. Warner and her husband, Douglas, of Windham; many nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and his lifelong and family friend, Charlie Orcutt and his wife, Mary. Michael was predeceased by a sister, Donna Marie Pearson, a nephew, Matthew R. Pearson, and an uncle, Paul R. Tetreault. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 23, at 10 a.m. from the Coventry Funeral Home, 2665 Boston Turnpike, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Church, 1600 Main St., Coventry. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Coventry. Calling hours will be Sunday, April 22, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in Michael's name to the Helen and Harry Gray Cancer Center, Attn: Fund Development, 80 Seymour St., P.O. Box 5037, Hartford, CT 06102-5037.
