PARSAIN

Sylvia (Knybel) Parsain, 79, of Rockville, died Monday, May 14, 2001, at a 
local convalescent home.

She was born in Rockville, daughter of the late Michael and Margaret Knybel, 
and was a lifelong resident.

She is survived by her children, Edward Parsain of Virginia, Cecelia Parsain of 
Florida, Richard Parsain of Rockville, Maryann Parsain of East Hartford; her brother, 
Walter Knybel of Rockville; her sisters, Loretta Jaikey of Vernon and Jean Marconi of 
Manchester; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. 
She was predeceased by her son, Frederick Parsain.

The funeral service will be Friday, May 18, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m., 
at St. Bernard Church, Rockville. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery, Rockville.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today, May 17, at the Burke-Fortin Funeral Home, 
76 Prospect St., Rockville.
