Mrs. Vincent Petrone

The funeral of Mrs. Emelia (Grimaldi) Petrone, wife of Vincent Petrone, 
5 Walnut street, who died Monday at the Wesson Memorial Hospital, Springfield,
after a short illness, was conducted yesterday morning at the Browne Funeral Home,
followed by services in St. Joseph's Chapel.  A solemn requiem high mass was 
celebrated by Rev. Robert E. Shea, assisted by Rev. John J. Graham, as deacon, and 
Rev. John j. Phelan, subdeacon.  Mrs. Daniel A. Garvey was soloist.  Bearers were
William Salamone, Simon Swenson, Frank Calvanese, Victor Petrone, Vincent Petrone
and William Johnson.  Burail was in St. Patrick's King Street Cemetery, Father Shea
officiating at the grave.
Mrs. Petrone was born in Bracigliano, Italy, but had lived in Thompsonville 27 years.
She was a member of St. Patrick's Church.  Besides her husband, she leaves three sons,
Carmine and Ernest Petrone of Thompsonville and Ermenia at home; three daughters, Mrs.
Frederick Benarz of Suffield and the Misses Rosetta and Jean Petrone at home; three
brothers, John and Frank Grimaldi of Thompsonville and Jerry Grimaldi of Chicago, ill.;
one sister, Mrs. Grace Bruno of Thompsonville, and several grandchildren.
