Perreault Doris S. Perreault of Enfield, passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2001, at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford. She was 64. The daughter of Armande and the late Ernest Lavertue, she was born Feb. 9, 1937, in Berlin, N.H. She was valedictorian of the Notre Dame class of l955. She married Ben Perreault of Berlin in 1957, and moved with her family to Connecticut in 1960. Mrs. Perreault worked for the Dexter Corporation in Windsor Locks for 27 years, where she served in both the accounting and the human resources departments until suffering a stroke in 1997. She enjoyed playing the piano, singing, gardening, travel, and spending time with her grandchildren. Her gentle and generous spirit will be missed by all who knew her. Survivors include her mother, Armande Lavertue of Berlin; her husband, Ben Perreault, of Enfield; her son, Mark, and daughter-in-law, Linda Perreault of Granby; her daughter, Denise Perreault-Low, and son-in-law, David Low, of Boulder, Colo.; and three grandchildren, Lisa and Michelle Perreault, and Dustin Low. She is also survived by a sister, Lina, and a brother-in-law, Dewey Lavigne, of Berlin. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 28, at Holy Family Church, 23 Simon Road, Enfield. A second Memorial Mass will be held in Berlin, N.H. at a later date. Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels is caring for the arrangements.
