Rodimon Jr. Vernon W. "Bun" Rodimon Jr., 74, of 4 Bartlett Hollow Road, Stafford Springs, died Sunday, April 15, 2001, at home. Born in Springfield, formerly living in Hampden, he was a longtime Stafford Springs resident. He was a retired diesel mechanic, having worked for Tyler Equipment of East Longmeadow, was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, and was a member of the Pat Ledoux Post American Legion of Hampden. He leaves his wife of 50 years, Merle (Wakefield) Rodimon; two sons, Gary Rodimon of East Haddam and Matthew Rodimon of Stafford Springs; three daughters, Diane Lerch of Stafford Springs, Verna Charter of Ellington, and Michele Rodimon of Boston; a brother, Warren of North Stratford, N.H.; a sister, Beverly Bowman of Worthington, Mass.; and six grandchildren. The funeral service and burial are private for the family. There are no calling hours. Byron's Allen Street Funeral Home, Springfield, is in charge of arrangements.
