Audrey (Weisberg) Spitler


Audrey "Aud" (Weisberg) Spitler, 44, of Birchwood Drive, Enfield, 
entered into eternal peace Sunday, April 15, 2001, surrounded by her 
loving family at home after a courageous battle with cancer.

Audrey was born in Queens, N.Y. She had resided in Baltimore and was 
an Enfield resident for the past 10 years. She was formerly employed 
by Martin Brauer Co., Olympia Sales, and the town of Enfield Public 
Works Department.

Audrey was the beloved wife of 24 years of Richard P. Spitler. She is 
also survived by two daughters Dorie K. and Michelle L., both of 
Enfield; her mother, Estelle (Cohen) Weisberg of Hollywood, Fla.; 
two brothers, Barry Weisberg of Sunrise, Fla., and Steven Weisberg of 
Las Vegas; many nieces and nephews; and her father-in-law, Robert Tracy
of Fort Lauderdale, Fla. She was predeceased by her father, Albert 
Weisberg, and by her mother-in-law, Mary Lynn Tracy.

A funeral service will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, at Browne
Memorial Funeral Chapels, 43 Shaker Road, Enfield (Exit 48 off I-91, 
east on Route 220 for 1¼ miles). Burial will be at the convenience of 
the family in Hazardville Cemetery.

The Spitler family will receive relatives and friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, at the funeral home.
