Catherine (Shields) Stout

The funeral of Mrs. Catherine (Shields) Stout, wife of Harry Stout, who died
last Thursday at the Jersey City Medical Center, Kearney, N.J., was conducted
Sunday afternoon from the Leete Funeral Home at 4 o'clock.  Rev. Melvin R. Morris, 
pastor of First Presbyterian Church, officiated, and burial was in the Enfield
Street Cemetery.  Bearers were Claus Abrahamsom, Raymond Chouinard, Richard Shields, 
Alfred Williams, Harry Blowen and Sterling Tarbell.
Mrs. Stout was born in Kilsythe, Scotland, daughter of Mrs. Catherine Shields, 
John street, Thompsonville, and the late William Shields.  Besides her husband 
and her mother, she leaves six brothers, Thomas, Walter and Peter C. Shields, 
Thompsonville; William Shields, Hastings-on-the-Hudson, N.Y., and David and 
James Shields, Scotland; three sisters, Mrs. Isabel Caulder, Lisbon Falls, Me.,
Mrs. Christina McLaren, Thompsonville, and Miss Mary Shields, Hartford, and
several nieces and nephews.
