Sullivan, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 19, 2001. She was born in Wallingford on June 21, 1909, daughter of the late Andrew Massaro and Katherine Monteserrato Massaro. She made her home in Windsor Locks since 1939, when she married. She had been employed by Travelers Insurance Co., and later the former Northern Connecticut National Bank. She enjoyed playing bridge and was accomplished in tole painting, knitting, and crocheting. She was loved by all who knew her and she was a true friend to all. Marie was the last surviving member of the Massaro family. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 22, at Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring St., Windsor Locks, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Church, Windsor Locks. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Windsor Locks. Calling hours are from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 22, at the funeral home.
