Born in Springfield, she was a lifelong resident of the area. She was a claims processor for Travelers Insurance and retired in 1978. She was a member of Beth Israel Synagogue and its sisterhood. She leaves two sons, Alan Suher of Enfield, formerly of Longmeadow, Mass., and Steven Suher of Seekonk, Mass.; two brothers, Martin Silverman of Westwood, Mass., and Sidney Silverman of Naples, Fla.; two sisters, Dorothy Smith of Springfield and Shirley Kimball of Bryn Mahr, Pa.; and five grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Harry Suher, who died in 1977, and a son, Marvin, who died in 1990. A graveside service was held Monday, April 16, at Beth Israel Cemetery in West Springfield. The Harold R. Ascher & Son Memorial Chapel was in charge.
