Sheridan Sr., died Thursday, April 26, 2001, at Osceola Regional Medical Center in Florida. Born Dec. 26, 1925, in Pensacola, Fla., daughter of the late Robert F. and Hilda (Welsh) Ellis, she had been a resident of Manchester for many years until moving to Florida in 1987. Mrs. Sheridan was formerly employed by Pratt & Whitney for more than 10 years. She was a former communicant of St. Bartholomew Church in Manchester, and she was a very active volunteer for FISH of Manchester. Besides her husband, Martin, she is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas and Ellen Sheridan, and David and Katherine Sheridan, all of Manchester; two daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Richard Hein of Bolton, and Regina and Shannon Foster of Lutz, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; a brother, Robert Ellis Jr., and a sister, Eleanor Huelsman, both of Florida; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Martin J. Sheridan Jr. A funeral service will be held at 9:15 a.m. Thursday, May 3, at Holmes Funeral Home, 400 Main St., Manchester, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Bartholomew Church, 45 Ludlow Road, Manchester. Burial will follow in East Cemetery, Manchester. Family and friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 2, at the funeral home.
