Trow Bernard "Bernie" J. Trow, 62, entered into eternal peace on Tuesday, April 17, 2001, at Johnson Memorial Hospital, Stafford. Bernie was born in Brockton, Mass., the son of the late Louis E. and Mary (Landers) Trow. He had resided in Newport, N.H., as a young man, making his home with the O'Connor family. Bernie had resided in Agawam, Mass., for many years, later in Enfield, and most recently in Suffield. Bernie was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He was formerly employed by Pratt & Whitney Aircraft and received the NASA Apollo Achievement Award in 1969. Bernie was most recently employed by SCM, now Revco, in Agawam. Bernie retired in November 2000. Bernie is survived by his fiancee, Jadwiga "Jackie" Bodnar, of Suffield; two sisters, Mary Lou Trow of Amherst, Mass., and Beverly Armstrong of Knoxville, Tenn.; and one brother, Frederick Pelletier of Chicopee. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 21, at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels, 43 Shaker Road, Enfield (Exit 48 off I-91, Route 220 east 1¼ miles). Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Oak Grove Cemetery, Springfield.
