Frances Hedwig Uccello, 90, of Manchester, widow of Carl Uccello, died Thursday, 
April 3, 2003, at a local convalescent home.

She was born in Norwich and had lived in Manchester for many years.

She is survived by her children, Carol Messier of Bolton, Frances S. Massolini of Florida, 
Daniel Uccello of Florida, Phyllis V. Uccello of Manchester; her brothers, Alfred Laskowski, 
Edward Laskowski, both of Norwich; her sisters, Wanda Griffin of Norwich, Florence Boring 
of Virginia; 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, Carl D. 
Uccello, her brother, Anthony Laskowski, and her sisters, Freda Griffin and Helen Chynski.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 10, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Episcopal 
Church, 41 Park St., Manchester.

Memorial donations may be made to Fox Hill Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Recreation 
Dept., 22 South St., Rockville, CT 06066.

The Burke-Fortin Funeral Home, 76 Prospect St., Rockville, has charge of arrangements.
