She was the widow of Victor Ventura. Antoinetta was born April 17, 1915, in Picerno, Italy, the daughter of the late Joseph and Agata Parisi. She was educated at Casa Materna, Portici, Naples. Antoinetta was a New Britain resident since 1934, and was formerly employed by Independent Cloak in New Britain and Manchester, as well as by Park Fashions/American Bazaar, Manchester, and Sokol Brothers and Sandra Paula Fashions, New Britain. Antoinetta is survived by her adoring family: her son Victor Ventura of New Britain, with whom she made her home for many years; her daughter Susana Ventura and son-in-law Chris Rael of New York City, and her daughter and son-in-law Lorraine Ventura and Guy Gouin of Bristol, and their children, Raoul, Joaquin, Mario, and Antoinette Gouin; her son Joseph Ventura and daughter-in-law Barbara of South Windsor, and their children, Susan, Joseph Jr., and Catherine; and her special aide, Robin Barry of Plainville. She was greatly loved and will be sadly missed for her great individuality and personal integrity, which touched everyone who met her. A funeral service will be held at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday, May 22, from the Burritt Hill Funeral Home, 332 Burritt St., New Britain, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. at St. Andrews Church, New Britain. Interment will be in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain.
