She was born in Hartford, daughter of Kathryn (Carmody) Lawson of Granby and the late Robert Lawson, and had lived in Ellington for many years. Molly received her bachelor's degree from the University of Connecticut in 1990, and she was employed by Data Capture Solutions of Manchester. She was a member of the Crystal Lake Association and the Connecticut Federation of Lakes. Besides her mother, she is survived by her children, William West of Ellington, Carolyn West of Vernon, and Jennifer and her husband, Chandler, of Parker, Ohio; their father, Richard West; her brother, John Lawson of Virginia; her sisters, Kathy Scully of New Hampshire, Joanne Lawson of Farmington, and Julia Shirey of Michigan; and her mother-in-law, Katherine West of Florida. She was predeceased by her sister, Lulie Woods. Family and friends may call from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 23, at the Burke-Fortin Funeral Home, 76 Prospect St., Rockville.
