Yeske, 88, of Manchester, husband of the late Dorothy E. (Tedford) Yeske, died Wednesday, April 25, 2001, at St. Francis Hospital, Hartford. He was born July 12, 1912, in New York City, son of the late Robert and Agusta (Dredger) Yeske Sr., and had lived in Hartford and Newington for many years before moving to Manchester in 1986. He was a member of the Salvation Army Citadel in Manchester, Trinity Lodge 36 Order of Odd Fellows in Hartford, Sequin Lodge 99 AF&AM, and the Manchester Senior Citizens. Prior to his retirement he had been employed as an X-ray technician with Pratt & Whitney Aircraft for more than 27 years. He is survived by several nieces and nephews, and many close friends. He was predeceased by three brothers, Edward Yeske, William Yeske, and Robert Yeske Jr. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 4, in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Rocky Hill. There are no calling hours. Holmes Funeral Home, Manchester, has care of arrangements.
