To All people to whome these Presents Shall Come Greetings    
Know ye that I Jabez Lewis of C___________ in ye County of 
Hartford and colony of Conecticut in New England for the Consideration 
of one Hundred and Twenty two pounds ___teen Shillings Corrant Money 
old Taner Received to my full Satisfaction of John Willson of 
Coventry in ye county of Windham & Colony aforesaid do Give Grant 
Bargain Sell and Confirm unto the sd John Willson and to his Heirs 
and assigns forever one certain tract or percle of Land Lying in 
Coventry in Ye County of Windham & Colony aforesd Containing thirty 
four acres and Sixty Rods which was let out to me by the dinition 
according to ye Judgment of Cort Directing them and is part 
of ______ Hundred acre Dinition ye East end of so Dintion and is 
Bounded as I do sweth South upon a highway & west upon Jedediah 
Carpenters Land that he bought of John Lewes North upon William 
Pitkins Land east upon John Willsons Land aforesd and Lyes in 
bredth east & west fifty five Rods and in Length North & South one 
Hundred Rods To Have and to Hold ye above Granted and Bargained Premises 
unto him ye sd John Wilson and to his Heirs and assigns for ever to his 
and there own proper and Behoof and also I the sd Jabez Lewis do for my 
Self my Hiers and assigns Covenant with ye sd John Willson his Heirs and 
assigns that at and untill ye ensealing of these presents I am well Seized 
of ye premises as a good Right to Bargain and Sell the Same in manner and 
form as is above Written and that ye Same is free of all Incumbrances whatso 
ever and furthermore I ye sd Jabez Lewis do by these presents bind my Self 
my Heirs for ever to Warrant and Defend the above Granted and Bargained 
Premises to him the said John Wilson and to his Heirs & assigns for ever 
against all Claims and Demands whatso ever In witness whereof I have 
hereunto Set my hand and Seal this 2nd day of July AD 1745
