Know  all  men  by  these Presents that I Jedediah Carpenter of Coventry in
the  County of Windham & State of Connecticut for & in consideration of Six
hundred  fifty  Pounds  Lawfull money to me in hand Paid by William Willson
do  Grant & align one certain Peice of Land in the Town of Coventry - _____
Bounded  as  followeth  begining at a Stake & Stones at Southwest corner of
Land  belonging  to william willson aforesd & thence runing northerly on Sd
Willsons  Land  about  100 Rods to a stake & stones - thence Runing west on
Land  Belonging  to  Mr.  Pitkin about 66 Rods to a Stake & Stones being at
Northeast  Corner  of Land belonging to Elisha Tucker then runing southerly
on  Sd  Tuckers  Land about 50 Rods to a stake & Stones then Runing East on
Sd  Turners  Land  about  Seventeen  Rods to a stake & Stones thence Runing
north  on  Sd  Tuckers  Land about 50 Rods to a highway thence runing on Sd
Highway  about 49 Rods to ye first mentioned bound containing by Estimation
33  acres with Dwelling house and barn Standing thereon be the same more or
Less-------------    To  Have  & to hold and that forever I the Sd Jedediah
Carpenter    for    myself  heirs  Executors  &  administrators  for  &  in
Consideration  aforesd  Do  covenant  & agree to warrent & Defend the above
Bargained  Premises with ye Priviledges & appurtenances thereunto belonging
against  all  Lawfull Claims whatsoever unto him - the sd Willson his heirs
and  asigns  forever The sd Jedediah Carpenter on ye Day of the Date hereof
have  a  good  Right to Despose of the same in witness manner & form and in
witness  & confirmation hereof I have hereunto Set my hand & affixt my Seal
