All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/ct/ctfiles.htm *********************************************** To all Peoples to Whom these Presents Shall come Greeting Know ye that I William Willson of Coventry in Tolland County the State of Connecticut in New England For the consideration of Twenty Pounds Lawful money to me in hand paid and by me Received to my full Satisfaction of John Willson of Coventry in the County & State aforesaid Do give grant bargain sell and confirm unto the said John Willson his heirs & assignees one certain piece of Tenement of Land with a Dwelling House & barn standing thereon Situate in Coventry aforesaid Bounded as followeth (viz) Beginning at a heap of Stones in the Line of the highway & running west 3o South Thirty five rods & Sixteen links to bound Land adjoyning to Elijah White Esq thence North 3o east Fifty four rods & 6 links thence west 3o South 17 rods &1 7 links thence North 3o West Fifty four rods 20 links on said Whites Land thence East 3o North Fifty three rods & 8 links on Land belonging to Ashalel Pitkin Esq Thence South on my one land 100 rods first mentioned Bound containing by estimation thirty acres and fifty two rods be the same more or less To Have and to Hold the above granted and bargained Premises with the appurtenances thereof unto him the said John Willson his Heirs and Assigns forever to his and their proper use and behoof and Also I the Said William Willson do for my self my heirs Executors and Administrators covenant with the said Wilson his heirs and assigns that at and untill the Ensealling of these Presents I am well Seized of the Premises as a good indefeasible Estate in fee Simple and have good Right to bargain and Sell the same in Manner and form as in above written and that the same is free of all incumbrances whatsoever and Furthermore I the Said William Willson do by these presents bind myself & my Heirs forever to warrant and Defend the above granted and bargained Premises to the Said John Willson and his Heirs and assigns against all Claims and Demands whatsoever In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this the 20th day of December AD 1789 Signed Sealed & Delivered William Willson S.S.
