All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/ct/ctfiles.htm *********************************************** To all People to whom these presents shall come Greeting Know ye that I John Willson of Coventry in the County of Tolland and State of Connecticut for the Consideration of the sum of One Hundred Pounds Legal Money Received to my full satisfaction of Zebulon Rust Willson of sd Coventry in the County and State aforesaid Do give grant bargain sell and confirm unto him the said Zebulon his heirs and assigns ______ his Certain Tracts or percels of Land lying the Township of Coventry containg about Twenty acres be the same more or less Bounded as follows (viz) first a Peace Begining at the South west corner of the two highways at a heap of stones thence runing North Butting on the highway leading to Tolland line 52 rods & five feet to a heap of stones East butting on the heirs of Noah Porters land 18 and a half rods to a stake and stones thence South Butting on land of Amos Avery 52 rods & 5 feet to a heap of stones thence west Butting on the highway Eighteen & half rods to the first mentioned Bounds with a Mantion House thereon also one other piece of Land formerly owned by Peter Scott Bounded as follows (viz) Begining at the highway Adjoining land of Elisha Loomis thence South Butting on the highway thirty Six rods and Nine links to a heap of Stones thence west 3o South Sixty one rods and 15 links to a heap of stones thence Northwardly Parallel with the Highway thirty Six rods and Nine links to a heap of stones in Jonathan Porter line thence Eastwardly in Sd Porter & Loomis line to the first mentioned Bound With a Barn Standing thereon To have and to Hold the above granted and bargained Premises with the Appurtenances thereof to him the said Zebulon and to his Heirs and assigns forever to his and their proper use and behoof and also I the said John Do for myself my Heirs Executors and Administrators covenant with the said Zebulon his Heirs and Assigns forever that at and untill the Ensealing of these presents I am well seized of the Premises as a good indefeasible Estate in fee Simple and have Good right to Bargain and Sell the same in Manner and Form as is above granted Premises to him the sd Zebulon his Heirs and Assigns against all Claims and Demands whatsoever In Witness I have hereunto set my hand & seal this second Day of December in the year 1791 In Presence of Reuben Long John Wilson L.S.
