All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/ct/ctfiles.htm *********************************************** To all People to whom these Presents shall come Greeting Know ye that I William Willson of Coventry in the County of Tolland State of Connecticut for the Consideration Seven Hundred and Seventy Silver Dollars Received to my full satisfaction of Dan Storrs of Mansfield in the County of Windham and said State Do Give Grant bargain sell and Confirm unto the said Dan one certain farm of land laying and being in Coventry and is bounded as follows (viz) Begining at the highway at a heap of stones at the corner of land belonging to the heirs of Timothy Kimball decd thence East butting South on said heirs land and Ephraim Kingsbury land and Ezekiel Richardsons about 167 rods to a heap of stones at Eliphalet Carpenters land thence North butting East on said Carpenters land about 31 rods to the corner of Jesie Cooks land thence west butting north on said Cooks land about 122 1/2 rods to a heap of stones thence North butting East on sd Cool land 54 rods to a highway thence west in the line of the highway 44 1/2 rods to another highway thence South butting West on said highway 54 rods to Amos Avery land thence East about 15 rods thence about south about 8 rods thence about west 15 rods to the highway at a heap of stones thence South line of the highway about 44 rods to the first mentioned bounds being the whole of the land for which gave bond to give a deed to Stephen Hull now in the hands of said Dan to which this Deed is given together with the buildings theron standing. To have and to Hold the above granted and bargained Premises with the appurtenances thereof unto him the sd Dan his heirs and assigns forever to his and their own proper use & behoof. And also I the said William do for myself & heirs, executors, and administrators, covenant with the said Dan his heirs and assigns; that at and untill the ensealing of these presents I am well seized of the premises as a good indefeasible Estate in fee simple and have good right to bargain and sell the same in manner and form as is above written and that the same is free of all incumbrances whatsoever. And furthermore the said William do by these presents bind myself and my heirs forever to warrant and defend the above granted and bargained premises to him the said Dan and to his heirs and assigns, against all Claims and Demands whatsoever.
