Know ye that I William Willson of Coventry in the County of Tolland State of Connecticut for the consideration Twenty seven dollars full satisfaction of Jacob Willson of Coventry County & State aforesd Do give, grant, bargain, sell, and confirm unto the said Jacob Willson one certain piece or tract of Land being & lying in the North Society in sd Coventry near the dwelling house of the sd Jacob Willson the grantee & is butted and bounded as followeth viz beginning at the Southwest corner of the grantees house lot thence runing Westerly as the fence now stands towards & four links to a stake & stones - thence Northwardly in the line of the fence as it now stands thirteen rods & four links, thence in a direct line with the North side of the grantees Barn to the highway, thence in the line of the highway to the grantees land, thence in the line betwixt the grantor & grantee to the first mentioned bounds, containing one quarter of an acre & half a rod of land be the same more or less. To Have and to Hold the above granted and bargained premises, with the appurtenances thereof, unto him the said Jacob Willson his heirs and assigns forever, to his and their own proper use & behoof. And also, I the said Wm do for myself & my heirs, executors, and administrators, covenant with the said Jacob his heirs and assigns; that at and untill the ensealing of these presents I am well seized of the premises as a good indefeasible Estate in fee-simple, and have good right to bargain and sell the same in manner and form as is above written, and the same is free of all incumbrances whatsoever. And furthermore, I the said William do by these presents, bind myself and my heirs forever to warrant and defend the above granted and bargained premises, to him the said Jacob his heirs and assigns, against all claims and demands whatsoever.
