Be  it  Known  unto  all men by these presents that I samuell minere of the
town  of  stonington  in  the  county  of  New  London  in  the  coloney of
conectycot  in  Newingland  husbanman  for  and consideration of the sum of
twenty  pounds in catle & corne to me in hand paid before signing & sealing
of  these  presents doe bargain selle aline assigne & set over & here by do
by  these  presents fully & absolutly bargaind sould alien assined set over
&  confirmed unto Ephraim herrick and Gorg halkin of the town of Preston in
the  county afore sd a certaine percell of upland & madow ground being full
half  for  quantity  &  quallity  with  in  the bounds here mentioned being
scituat   Lying in the township of preston a fore sd being bounded with the
Land  of  Ephraim heirick on the south with the Land of samuell and tymothy
herrick  on  the  North  by  the  Land of john Guile on the west and by the
River  caled pachoage river on the east to have and to hould the sd Land as
it  is Now stated and bounded with all rights titles profits priviledgs and
appurtinances  in  ain  wise  thereunto  pertaining  or belonging to the sd
Ephraim  herrick  and  Georg  halkins their heires executors administrators
and  assigns  to  be  to them and there own proper use and be hofe for ever
free  and  clere  of  and  from  all  former  and  other seals gifts grants
judgments  executions  and  all  other acts and incumbrances by me sd miner
herto  fore made Dun or sufered to be made or dune and the sd samuell miner
doth  by  thes  presents further covenant and promise for himself his heirs
executors  administrators  and  assigns  to  and  with sd ephraim herrick &
georg  halkins  their heirs executors administrators and assigns that he ye
sd  miner  is  the tru & right full owner of the bargained premises the day
of  the  date  hereof  and hath in him self full power and Lawfull act ther
by  to  bargain sell convey the sam as a fore sd and shall and will warrant
acquit  and  defend  the  quiat  and  peacable  posession of the same to sd
herrick  and  halkin  their  heirs  or  assigns forever against all persons
Laying  aney  claims there to by from or under me the sd miner his heirs or
assigns  for  ever  and in wittnes here of I the sd samuell miner have sett
here  unto  my hand and seale the twentifift day of june in the yere of our
Lord  one  thousand  seven  hundred and five signed sealed and delivered in
