The family of Eugene Palmer (Mrs. Palmer & child Olendra)are on expense. Jan. 4, 1882: Hebron to John Harris. Payment for support of Mrs. Ruth Wilson to Dec. 6, 1881 Feb. 8, 1882: Montville to Hebron. Mrs. Eugene Palmer has asked for help. I am told by her mother that Palmer's household furniture is in Waterford. Palmer was in this town last week, but I did not know it until he was gone again. His wife says that he did not give her one cent. Feb. 15, 1882: Hebron to Montville. Tell Palmer that if he doesn't support his family we shall be after him. If Mrs. Palmer is well, she should be able to find work in one of the mills to support herself & child. If she cannot, we will take her up here. Feb. 15, 1882: Montville to Hebron. Mrs. Palmer is still living with her mother, Mrs. Street. Feb. 20, 1882: Montville to Hebron. I have got rid of Mrs. Palmer last week. I hired a man to take her to her husband, and they have gone to keeping house in Waterford. Feb. 13, 1882: Hebron to Marlborough. N. Lester Snow & wife are on expense. Feb. 13, 1882: Hebron to John Harris. Payment for keeping Mrs. Ruth Wilson Jan. 3-Feb. 14. If you do not wish to keep her any longer, we will bring her to Hebron. Feb. 28, 1882: Hebron to Ashford. J. Lester Snow & wife are on expense. Feb. 17, 1882: Essex to Hebron. The family of Charles F. Porter (wife, ae 35; Grace, ae 11; Ellen, ae 4; Walter Scott, ae 6 months) are on expense. Feb. 28, 1882: Hebron to Essex. We find no record of Charles F. Porter ever living in Hebron. Feb. 28, 1882: Hebron to Vernon. Mrs. Oliver Bingham is in town without means of support. She has been stopping several weeks with her daughter, but the family where she works say they cannot & will not keep her any longer. I have hoped that some of her children, who live in Bolton, Hartford and Avon, would do something for her, but they pay no attention. Mar. 14, 1882: Vernon to Hebron. If you will send Mrs. Bingham here, we will see that she is well provided for. Mar. 23, 1882: Hebron to Vernon. N.L. Snow & wife are on expense. Mrs. Snow was born in Vernon and I do not find that he has gained a settlement elsewhere. /About the time your last letter was received, Mrs. Bingham fell downstairs, hurting herself badly. She cannot be moved at present. Mar. 22, 1882: Hebron to Columbia. George Greene, his wife & 2 children (Ida, ae 6, & Lloyd, ae 3) are on expense. Mar. 6, 1882: Ashford to Hebron. I cannot find that Mr. Snow ever lived in this town. What is his age and the name of his father? Did he or his father ever live in this town? Apr. 6, 1882: Hebron to Vernon. N.L. Snow is ae 60; his father was Dudley Snow. /Mrs. O. Bingham is not yet well enough to travel. Apr. 6, 1882: Hebron to Canterbury. George Greene, his wife & 2 children (Ida, ae 6, and Lloyd, ae 3) are on expense. Apr. 6, 1882: Hebron to Eastford. N. Lester Snow & wife are on expense. Apr. 6, 1882: Hebron to Mansfield. Mrs. Hannah F. Taylor is on expense. Mr. Loren Bradford, where she is staying, will keep her for a reasonable amount per week. Apr. 12, 1882: Eastford to Hebron. N. Lester Snow and his wife are not inhabitants. Apr. 6, 1882: Hebron to Lebanon. Mrs. Hannah F. Taylor is on expense. May 30, 1882: Dr. Myron W. Robinson of Colchester to Hebron. Request for payment of medical attendance for Charles G. Taylor, who is living near Daniel Gott's. I am told that he belongs to the town of Mansfield. May 11, 1882: Canterbury to Hebron. George Greene and family are not inhabitants. Apr. 27, 1882: Salem to Hebron. Frank Chick, his wife and children have been on expense for 2 weeks. His wife is now dead, to be buried Apr. 29. May 10, 1882: Hebron to Salem. Chick was born in Westchester; his mother was born near Gardner's Lake; his father's settlement is unknown. June 7, 1882: Hebron to Lyme. Albert Sawyer is on expense. He came to this town about 3 weeks ago & is staying with Thomas C. Taylor's family; he is not able to be moved. June 10, 1882: Hebron to New Haven. David T. Luies & wife are on expense. June 17, 1882: New Haven to Hebron. Require more particulars concerning David T. Luies. June 18, 1882: Lyme to Hebron. Please inform us as to weekly expenses for Albert Sawyer. June 23, 1882: Hebron to Lyme. Albert Sawyer is dead & buried. Expenses: $22.00. June 23, 1882: Hebron to Mansfield. Charles G. Taylor, his wife Lucy, and 3 children (Alice, ae 17; Leon, ae 15; Lewis, ae 1 year) are on expense. Apr. 24, 1882: Hebron to Vernon. Bill for board & medical attendance for Mrs. Oliver Bingham. Sept. 12, 1882: Hebron to Montville. Bill for support of Mrs. John Weeks to Sept. 1, 1882. Nov. 30, 1882: Hebron to Plainville. Has the family of Dennison Gray called for any more help?
