Obit: Rose Marie Brough, Obituary, June 17, 2001 Source: Journal Inquirer Manchester,CT (issue June 18, 2001) Submitter: ABishop, May 2001 ***************************************************************************** Brough Rose Marie Brough, 79, of West Main Street, Rockville, died Sunday, June 17, 2001, at Fox Hill Nursing Home, Rockville. She was the wife of the late George H. Brough. Rose Marie was born in Watertown, N.Y., on Dec. 11, 1921, daughter of the late Lisle Jones and Josephine (Brown) Jones. She moved from Watertown to Rockville in 1979. Prior to her retirement she was employed by Manchester Memorial Hospital. She was a Journal Inquirer carrier. Mrs. Brough was a volunteer at Florence Mills. She is survived by two sons, Richard Brough of Waterbury and Alan Brough of Imperial Beach, Calif.; two daughters, Josephine Estell of North Windham and Carol Beadle of Chisholm, Mich.; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two special friends, Ruth Hakey of Rockville and Dorothy Wheelock of Manchester. She was predeceased by her son, George H. Brough. Her funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 20, at White-Gibson-Small Funeral Home, 65 Elm St., Rockville, with the Rev. David C. Nutt officiating. Interment will be in Grove Hill Cemetery, Rockville. Family and friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service, Wednesday at the funeral home.
