Branch of National Association to Be Organized Friday Night. The local preachers of the Washington district of the Baltimore conference will be organized into a branch of the National Association of Local Preachers, Friday at 7:30 p. m. in the Douglas Memorial Methodist Church, Eleventh and H streets northeast, of which the Rev. W. W. Barnes is pastor. The district superintendent, the Rev. Whitford L. McDowell, will be present. Delegates will be elected to represent the auxiliary at the fifty-eighth annual convention of the national association in South Chester Methodist Episcopal Church, Chester, Pa., October 7 to 10. Sunday, March 14, will be known as Local Preacher's day and an all-day service will be held in the Douglas Memorial Church. The officers of the national association who will be present include the president, the Rev. W. B. Woodrow; secretary, the Rev. D. H. Kenney; assistant secretary, the Rev. Edwin H. Bookmyer; corresponding secretary, the Rev. Samuel M. Croft.
