Monday - May 21, 1838 - Mr Whittlesey of Ohio presents petition of Rebecca McCann of Washington, D.C., wife of Arthur McCann, deceased, praying renumeration of horse lost by her late husband in War of 1812. Monday - May 25, 1838 - Mr Whittlesey of Ohio, for the Committee of Claims, presented an unfavorable report on Rebecca McCann. The report was ordered to lie on table. Thursday - Tuesday 6, 1840 - Mr. Francis Thomas presents petition of Rebecca McCann to House of Representives. Friday - February 12, 1841 - House of Representives declared that leave be given to Rebecca McCann to withdraw papers. Thursday - June 2, 1842 - William Cost Johnson presents petition of Rebecca McCann of Washington D.C. praying to be paid for a horse lost by her late husband, Arthur McCann in the late War with England in 1812. The petition was referred to Committee of Claims. Tuesday - January 17, 1843 - Mr. Giddings from Committee of Claims, made adverse report on petition of Rebecca McCann, widow of Arthur McCann.
