SCHNEIDER—On Thursday, February 13, 1890, at 6:30 a.m., John A. Schneider, beloved husband of Mary J. Schneider, aged sixty-two years. Funeral from his late residence, 732 Maryland avenue ne., on Sunday, February 16, at 2 p.m. Relatives and friends invited to attend. DALTON—At her residence, No. 427 Massachusetts avenue northwest, at 6:15 a.m., on February 14, 1890, Carrie K., wife of Thomas W. Dalton, and daughter of Mary A. and the late John Sessford. Funeral Monday morning, from her residence, at 9:30 a.m., thence to St. Aloysius Church, where a solemn mass of requiem will be said at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Death of Sidney McFarland. Sidney McFarland, who used to be a powerful political leader among the Negroes years ago, when citizens of the District voted, died at his home yesterday, aged sixty. Of late he had been a guard at the jail. ROBERT S. TODD. His Remains Deposited in Rock Creek Cemetery Yesterday. The remains of Mr. Robert S. Todd were placed in the receiving vault of Rock Creek Cemetery yesterday. Funeral services were held at the residence of Mr. McGinn, on Four-and-a-half street, where the Rev. Dr. Addison, of Trinity Church, officiated. The floral tributes to the dead were choice and numerous, and the following named gentlemen acted as pallbearers: Hon. Phil. B. Thompson, J.C. McGinn, Lieut. Lucien Young, U.S.N.; A.C. Floyd, Maj. William N. Dalton, John E. Buckingham, F.E. Storm, and William W. Burnett. Minister Lincoln, Mr. Todd’s cousin, sent a message of condolence to Mrs. Todd from London, and a large concourse of friends congregated to pay their last sad tribute.
