I Christianna Graham of Kent County in the State of Delaware being weak of body but of perfect mind and memory thanks be given to God for his mercies and calling to mind the mortality of the body and knowing it is appointed for all men and women once to die do make and ordain this as my last will and testament and first of all I recommend my Soul to almighty God who gave it to me nothing doubting but at the general resurrection when the last trumpet shall sound saying arise ye dead and come to judgement I shall receive the same again by the mighty power of God and my body to the earth to be buried in a christian like manner at the discretion of my executors and touching such worldly goods as have pleased God to bless me with in this life I do give and dispose of in the following manner and first of all it is my will and desire that all my just debts and dues be fully satisfyed and paid and all the money that was borrowed for the Save and to secure my land to be paid first of all. Item I give and bequeath unto my oldest son John Graham one shilling to be possest by him and his heirs only forever. Item I also give and bequeath unto my son in law James Lafforty one shilling to be possest by him and his heirs only forever. Item I give and bequeath unto my three sons, Alexander Graham Thomas Graham and Samuel Graham all my land to be equally divided among them and there heirs only for ever there is some little exception to be made that is if my son James is a living. Item I give and bequeath unto him one fourth part of all my land but if he is dead it is my wish that his heirs shold not have any of my property and last of all I do hereby annominate and appoint my son Alexander Graham my executor of this my last will and testament after my decease hereby disannuling and revoking all other will or wills declaring this and no other to be my last will and testament in testimony where of I have set my hand and seal this twenty ninth day of March eighteen hundred and fourteen - - - 1814.
