Contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Jerri Burket January 12, 2002 ************************************************************************ 1897 DE Will of Ruth Ann Graham admitted to probate 13 July 1905 I Ruth Ann Graham of near the village of Canterbury in Kent County and state of Delaware, aged sixty nine years, but of sound mind, memory and understanding --- calling to mind the certainty of death and the uncertainty of the time thereof, do make publish pronounce and declare this to be my last will and testament intending thereby to dispose of such worldly goods as I may have and posess at the time of my death: That is to say: First: I will and devise to my son George H. Graham one bed bedstead and beding for one bed, and in case my said son George H. Graham shall die before the time of my death then said bed, bedstead and beding I will and devise to my grandson Clarence Eugene Graham. Second: I will and devise to my daughter Salle E. Holden one bed, bedstead and beding enough for one bed. Third: I will and devise to my daughter in law Mame E. Graham the remainder of my worldly estate in trust for my son Jonathan G. Graham, without security to be given by same Mame E. Graham for the forthcoming of said remainder of said worldly estate. Fourth: In case my son Jonathan G. Graham shall die without lawful issue then I will and devise the part of my worldly estate intended for my son Jonathan G. Graham, to my son George H. Graham and my daughter Sallie E. Holden to be equally divided between them, and to their heirs forever. Fifth: I hereby nominate constitute and appoint Robert J. Reynolds executor of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal on this thirty first day of March and in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety seven.
