Contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Jerri Burket: January 28, 2002 ************************************************************************ 1826 Will of George Graham, Mispillion hundred, Kent county, Delaware In the name of God Amen I George Graham Sr of Mispilion hundred in Kent County and the state of Delaware farmer am now of sound mind and recolecttion and do apoint this and no other to be my last will and testament wherein I do bequeath as is common my soul to GOD and my body to be disposed in the earth in a Christian manner and then after my just debts is paid should there be any to pay, I do will and give my estate both real and movable in the manner and form following first I give to my wife Betsey Graham all the Land I bought of a certain Benjamin Anthony with al the improvements therto belongin for during her natural life and then to be equaly divided between my four youngest children named Sally Graham Moses Graham Matthew Graham & Stephen Graham or such of them as shall be living at that time. I give farther to my wife Betsey Graham the one third of my moveable estate for during her life and the other two thirds of my movable estate to the above named children that is Sally Graham Moses Graham Matthew Graham & Stephen Graham to be paid to them at lawful age or such of them that shal live to that time, and I do give to my son Benjamin Graham one small tract of land caled Grahams Luck containin about five and a half acres and also an other piece of land that I took of lately from the state of Delaware containing about seventeen acres and a half which two pieces of land are ajoining each other to the said Benjamin Graham his heirs or asigns forever and I give farther to the said Benjamin Graham one Black horse about four years old and a sadle and bridle together with Two small heifers and three year old hogs and his chest and trunk above stairs and some corn in the year and two bushels of wheat these things since the horse is his own by purchase and should there be any things of my estate real or personal not yet disposed of I give it to my children Saly Graham Moses Graham Matthew Graham and Stephen Graham by equal division. And lastly I do nominate and apoint my son Benjamin Graham together with my wife to be my Executor and Executrix to this my will wrote by my own hand this thirtieth day of January in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred and twenty six.
