Hazel In the name of god amen. I William L. Hazel of Little Creek Hundred Kent County and State of Delaware being of Sound Mind and Memory and Concidering the uncertainty of this frail and transitory Life do therefore Make this My Last Will and Testament. First I give and bequeath to My Beloved Wife Mary My House and Lot Situated in the town of Smyrna County of Kent and State of Delaware during Her Natural Life. Also I give to Her five Hundred Dollars in Mony, out of Procedes of My Personal Estate it Being in Leu of Her Dower and after Her Death the House and Lot aforesaid to be Sold and the Procedes to be Equaly Devided Share and Share alike among my Surviving Children. Second I give and bequeath To My Son James P. Hazel one Hundred acres of Land With the Buildings and appearances thereunto belonging Where He Now Resides Situated in Little Creek Hundred Kent County and State of Delaware To Him and His Heirs forever by Him the Said James P. Hazel Paying To My Estate the Sum of five Hundred Dollars Lawful Money of the United States of America. Third I give and bequeath to My Daughter Mary E. Hazel the Sum of Two thousand Dollars to be Paid to Her out of My Estate To be Hers and Her Heirs forever. If the Said Mary E. Hazel Dies Leaving No Lawful Heirs the Same to be Equaly Devided Share and share alike among My Serving Children. I Further give to Her one Bed Stead and Beding, also one white Bed and blue Double Coverlet. Fourth I give and bequeath to My Daughter Elma Hazel the Sum of Two thousand Dollars to Her and Her Heirs for Ever to be Paid to Her out of My Real and Personal Estate. If the Said Elma Hazel Dies Leaving No Lawful Heirs then the Said bequest To be Equaly Devided Share and Share alike among My Surviving Children. Fifth To My Son William B. Hazel I give and bequeath the farm where I now Reside in Little Creek Hundred County of Kent and State of Delaware Containing one Hundred acres More or Less With all the Buildings and appurtenances thereunto Belonging To Him and His Heirs forever. If the Said William B. Hazel Should Die Leaving No Lawfull Heirs then the Said farm to be Sold and the Procedes thereof To be Equaly Divided Share and Share alike Between My Surviving Children. Sixth I give and bequeath to My Daughter Kate Hazel the Sum of Two Thousand Dollars in Money To be Paid to Her out of my Real and Personal Estate. If the Said Kate Hazel Dies Leaving No Lawfull Heirs then the Same to be Devided Equal Share and Share alike among my Surviving Children. Seventh I give and bequeath to My Son George W. Hazel the Sum of two thousand Dollars in Money to be Paid to Him out of My Real and Personal Estate. If the Said George W. Hazel Dies Leaving No Lawfull Heir then the Same To be Equaly Divided Share and Share alike among My Surviving Children. The Ballance of My Real Estate Being thirty two acres of wood land Situated in Little Creek Hundred Kent County and State of Delaware adjoining Land of Mathew Hazel George Flora and others To be Sold and the Procedes of Sale to be Devided as follows To Wit. To My Wife May, one third part of the Procedes Remaining after --- Divided Share & Share alike among My Children. Ninth I do nominate James P. Hazel and James Roberts of the Town of Smyrna to be the Executors of My Last Will and Testament and the Said Executors to procure Suitable Marble Tombstones To be placed at the Head and Foot of My grave To be Paid for out of My Estate.
