I, Reynear Williams of Mispillion Hundred and County of Kent, yeoman, being of perfect health and of sound mind and memory, thanks be to given to Almighty God for the same. Calling to mind the mortality of my body and that it is appointed for all men to once to die, do make & draw my last will & testament, that is to say primerily and first of all I recommend my soul into the hands of God that gave it, and for my body I recommend to the earth to be buried in a decent and Christian manner at the discretion of my executor, nothing doubting but at the general resurrection I shall receive the same again by the mighty power of God, and as touching such worldly estates wherewith it hath pleased Almighty God to bless me in this life I give, devise and dispose of the same in the following manner and forms. Imprimo: It is my will and I do order all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid and satisfied out of my personal estate. Item: I give and bequeath unto my well beloved daughter Mary Hunn, the sum of ten shillings. Item: I give and bequeath to my well beloved daughter Susannah Brinkle one negroe girl named Alice to her, her heirs and asigns for ever Item: I give and bequeath unto my well beloved son Aaron Williams, six hundred acres of land, one negroe named young Tony, one negroe named John and one negroe named Isaac & one negroe woman named Sarah (and her increase to be equally divided between my two sons Aaron and Reynear)two feather beds and furniture, two yoke of oxen, one clothes press, table, trunk and best chest, two silver spoons, six pewter plates, to him his heirs and asigns for ever. Item: I give and bequeath to my well beloved son Reynear, the plantation and manor house where I now dwell and three hundred acres of land of the other tract; one negroe man named old Tony, one negroe named Daniel and one negroe named Anthony, two leather trunks, two yoke of oxen, one cupboard, chest of drawers and trunk, two silver spoons, six pewter plates to him or his asigns for ever. Item: I bequeath unto my well beloved daughter Elizabeth the sum of twenty pounds, one negroe woman named Pegg and one negroe boy name Glasco, one negroe child named Jenny, two feather beds, furniture, one writing desk and great walnut table, two silver spoons, six pewter plates to her, her heirs or asigns for ever. The cattle & the remaining pewter to be equally divided between my said daughter Elizabeth and my two sons Aaron & Reynear. Item: My will and pleasure is that all my horses, hoggs & sheep and the remainder of my personal estate not already mentioned be equally divided between my two sons and that they shall have equal privilege in all my marsh land and my pleasure is that my son Reynear's two negroes Tony and Daniel shall help & assist my son Aaron in building at any Time hereafter he shall think proper to build. Item: I do make constitute and appoint my well beloved son Aaron Williams my sole executor of this my last will and testament and I utterly disavow, revoke and disanul all and every other former will and testament, legacies and executors by me in any ways before this time, named. willed, and bequeathed, ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my last will and testament, in witness whereof I have hereunto set my and seal the day & year above written.
